Charity Worker Visas granted to Husband and Wife

A young woman Leila and her husband came to our company for obtaining a Charity Worker Visa which is for up to 2 years. They are originally from Kazakhstan.

Last year, Leila came to the UK on a Tier 5 visa with her husband — they worked here for 6 months. They both came to our office last year before the end of their Tier 5 visas, and consulted:

  • How to stay in the UK in the future?
  • What are the options for switching to other visas?

We recommended returning back to Kazakhstan in order not to violate the visa regime for a Tier 5 visa and apply for a Charity Worker Visa. Leila and Askar heeded our advice and applied for a Charity Worker Visa from Kazakhstan this summer.

First of all, we issued a visa to Leila as the main applicant for a Charity Worker Visa.  And she got the visa WITHIN ONE WEEK.  Further, even before her arrival to the UK, we applied for her husband’s visa as a dependent family member.

Askar got his visa very quickly – within one week. The Charity Worker Visa does not give permission to work in the UK, but Askar was given a FULL WORK PERMIT.

So the young couple arrived to the UK. While Leila is doing her volunteer work, her husband has already found an official job and is working.

Now the next task is to bring their two children.

On our social media pages you can see the received documents from Home Office of the UK:

  • Leila and Askar’s BRP cards
  • Decisions on their visas
  • Some photos and videos of Laura working at the charity center

Askar’s decision says that he has the right to work. And his work permit is confirmed by obtaining a Share Code on a government website.

If you dream of going to the UK, we will be happy to help.
