Lionel is an EU citizen, from France. He has been working and living in the UK since 2012 and left the UK to France in 2015. By the end of 2020 he decided to return to the UK and did not apply for EUSS status as he was thinking that he is from the EU and can live and work in the UK. However he did not consider that the Immigration Law of the UK for all nationals has been changed starting from the end of 2020.
Ukraine Extension Scheme
Alina is from Ukraine and she entered the UK on 15 March 2022 through the Newhaven port. And she applied for the Ukraine Extension scheme 2 times — in April 2022 and in August 2022. Alina could not receive any positive decision for both applications and her latest application was voided due to unknown reasons.
Bek is from Uzbekistan originally and entered the UK in September 2020 as a student of a University according to the General Student Tier 4 visa.
While studying he has met his partner Kate who is an EU citizen and has pre-settled status. They decided to register their marriage in the UK on 24 January 2022. After registration of their marriage Bek has applied 2 times for EU Pre-Settled Status and has received 2 times refusal.
Dmytro is from Ukraine and he arrived in EU territory in the beginning of 2023. He was working in one of the EU countries and was receiving a good salary during the last 6-8 months.

Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme – Complex case
Vadym is a Ukrainian citizen and he was staying in Ukraine when he contacted me for the first time. His family – wife and daughter – were in the UK as they arrived last year immediately after war started. And Vadym tried 2 times to get Ukraine Sponsorship Visa, however was unsuccessful. He was waiting for a long time for the decision and there was no response.
He got the positive decision by the end of October 2023 and entered the UK in the beginning of November 2023 and he has taken his BRP card from the post office on time. Now Vadym is busy with his integration into the UK lifestyle and seeking work opportunities.
